Jeanne and I were married in 1987. We still practice things from our premarital sessions with our pastor. We have two children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Throughout our marriage, we have weathered various seasons together. From our journey, we have discovered essential rhythms in our relationship that help us stay close as we grow in intimacy. It has been a joy, a challenge, and sometimes even a dry and dark journey, but we have walked it together. These seasons have brought us closer, fostered openness, solidified oneness, and deepened our understanding of one another as we navigate our journey forward with curiosity and adventure. The joy of your marriage awaits you! It’s a beautiful work nurtured by love from God and one another to celebrate the union of your lives for the path ahead of you.

Premarital care consists of five sessions, each lasting 1 to 1.5
hours. Its purpose is to help couples grow in unity, understanding, and commitment before their wedding day. These sessions will provide an open and safe space for discussion, preparing you for your journey
as husband and wife. It will be an honor for us to meet with both of you.

The five sessions are scheduled in advance. You may reschedule as needed; however, the goal is to complete all five sessions before your wedding day. Additional sessions can be added, and those arrangements and topics can be discussed before the series of sessions concludes.
